Performing at the Fred Ebb Award ceremony

It was announced a couple weeks back that Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich were the winners of the 2009 Fred Ebb Award for musical theatre songwriting.
As readers of this blog know, Marcy and Zina wrote the in-development musical based on "Ever After" that I've participated in the readings of and recently recorded a new demo for. I'm excited to announce that they've asked me to sing one of their songs at the award ceremony on November 30th! These are some crazily talented ladies and I'm uber-flattered that they trust me with their material on a night celebrating their awesomeness. :)

Toxic Avenger Closing

Hey folks!

As you guys know now, Toxic Avenger will have its final performance on January 3rd. I've had more fun doing this show than I could've ever predicted. Amazingly talented cast, band and crew and a rockin' good time. But, don't despair, because the show has a national tour going out next fall as well as several potential productions in the works for other cities. In the meantime, come down to New World Stages and catch us before we're done!

Alright, alright, so everyone seems to vampire-crazy these days, right? The whole Twilight thing is little outta control and now there's this CW show called "The Vampire Diaries"...
Now that there's all these opportunities for extreme whities like myself, maybe it's time I started repositioning myself? Selling my headshot in a different way, maybe? I mean, my current headshot ALREADY looks like a vampire:






















But, I have RANGE. I could even go as far as to say I might be the only guy in the world who could pull off "happy vampire":

The Toxic Avenger Dessert

It looks crazy, but lemme tell ya, it was delish. That pile of green stuff on top is dyed whipped cream on top of basic vanilla ice cream. But was tasted really great was the sour gummy straws dipped in the ice cream and the green ooze in the center of it. Also, I feel the need to point out that the wild takes I'm doing in a couple pics... yeah, those weren't posed. The photog just happened to catch me looking like that. For real. I'm Muggy McMuggerson.
